BETTER NEWS FROM FRANCE

The organisers of the flyin onto the River Allier at Vichy have confirmed that permission has been granted for this event to take place, so we shall look forward to attending in July.

We shall look forward to actually landing on the river as, on our last attempt several years ago, the aircraft went u/s on arriving at Vichy airport, such that no flying could take place.

The only plus points of this situation were that we had three days to experience the local wine and food; whilst exploring the city and its surroundings in excellent weather.

NOT SUCH GOOD NEWS FOR POLLENSA

Due to clearance problems with the local council, the organisers of the Pollensa event were forced to reschedule it for September.

Unfortunately, the new dates clash with our promised attendasnce at the HMS Daedalus Centenary weekend.
